Kids' Climbing Club

Join us for an unforgettable summer of climbing, fun, and adventure!

Are your kids ready to reach new heights? Our Kids' Climbing Club offers a safe, exciting, and supportive environment for children of all skill levels to learn and develop their climbing abilities. They'll build confidence, strength, and problem-solving skills while making new friends and having a blast!

What to Expect:

Expert Coaching: Our experienced and friendly instructors are passionate about climbing and will guide your child through every step of their climbing journey.
Safe Environment: We prioritize safety with top-of-the-line equipment and strict supervision.
Fun & Engaging Activities: Beyond climbing, we'll incorporate games and challenges
Skill Development: Kids will learn fundamental climbing techniques, knot tying, belaying (for older, appropriate age groups), and more advanced climbing movement skills, including the chance to work towards lead climbing.
All Abilities Welcome: Whether your child is a complete beginner or has some climbing experience, our club is designed to cater for everyone.

Club Details:

Ages: 6 and upwards

When:

Every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from July 14th to August 14th

Time:

Session 1 9am to 11am, and
Session 2 11:45am to 1:45pm

Where: All sessions are held at RGS Newcastle's state of the art climbing wall

Pricing:

Single Session: £25 per 2 hour session (inclusive of all kit hire and instruction).

BESPOKE INDOOR SESSIONS

Are you a

scout or cadet group wanting something different,
a family or group of friends wanting to try out roped climbing indoors, maybe a parent wanting to learn to belay their son/daughter to join in sessions with them.
a student doing GCSE or A level PE who wants to use climbing for their individual sport,
or someone wanting to progress their climbing into learning to lead climb indoors - children or adults, we can cater for this.

MAINTENANCE AND ROUTE SETTING

Our route setters are climbers with vast climbing experience, indoors and out. We have the technical skills to safely and efficiently manage the maintenance of your wall in checking the surface and fixtures such as hangars as well as the refurbishment of your climbing wall.

We are fully trained in industry standard rope access techniques, inc. rescue, with the correct working at height equipment to match.

Whether it be a termly, bi-annually or yearly task, all climbing walls require maintenance - checking for loose holds, checking wear and tear on the surface, keeping the t nuts functioning for placing holds, etc.

All climbing walls require routes to be stripped, holds to be cleaned and reset to maintain the interest of your climbers.

For most schools and smaller walls, this is an onerous, time consuming tasks that is difficult to manage. Let us take the load. Literally.

Whether this be a large installation requiring checking, stripping, cleaning and resetting across 18+ lines across a couple of days, or something smaller across a couple of lines for 1/2 a day. No job too big or too small. .
